All about gil in FFXI

Welcome on FFXI Gil website. Did you heard something about Final Fantasy XIII? Well, I’m waiting also on 3 other related game set in the same FF XIII world. Games like: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Agito XIII on PSP and Final Fantasy Versus on XIII, game aren’t related directly but all are set in new FF world. All these games are part of collection: Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII (from latin, “New Tale about Crystals”).
In Final Fantasy XIII, main character is named “Lighting” and is really beautiful girl wielding large gunblade (She looks like girl ver. of Cloud from FF VII), there is also guys named Snow Villiers and girl Sera. Game is prepared on special engine called Crystal Tools and it was specially created for console Playstation 3. The concept for FFXIII battle system is to maintain the strategic nature of command-based battles. I think it’s good they back to old strategic combat system.

For now is hard to say when Squere release FFXIII. In fact, first Squere will release game in Japan in 2009 and later in other regions or world so we must be very patient. Well i hope game will be a lot better then FF XII i really don’t like it. Official website, related to Squere issued a statement reminding all consumers that any “confirmed release dates” reported by sources other than Square Enix are “erroneous and should be disregarded”.

I really don’t want to wait to long…

Welcome on FFXI Gil - Blog. Final Fantasy VII, is probably the best games i ever played in my life. That’s why i want to today about this legendary game. It’s all began when I was very young ( I was 14-15 yo) and I bought PSX and later FF VII, mostly because i selected this game randomly. Well i played half hour and i was really frustrated, thoughts like “Ohh man what a piece of ……”, “what have i done, I buy manure!!”. My younger brother was also angry because i spend his money also. I was totally disappointed but, i played more, hoping this game isn’t such a crap. Now I feel very ashamed of this, but i was blind back then ;-). After several hours i changed my mind totally. All including great graphic, music + story, characters and pure charisma….Only one thing matter, Final Fantasy VII!

Well there you have some great music from Final Fantasy, it’s main theme and guys is playing really fantastic on his piano. I think is probably most popular intro music ever created for game.

Music has been composed by Japanese composer, Mr. Nobuo Uematsu, creator of soundtracks for FF VII, VIII, IX, X, XI. Nobuo is living legend. After hearing most of his music i think it’s most talented composer working on soundtracks for games. Maybe music it’s half of Final Fantasy legend? I think yeah.
Well, if you not play in Final Fantasy VII, try it. It’s maybe old but it’s best FF game ever created :-).

Alexander appears in very often in all Final Fantasy games, he is giant robot who attack his enemies with his powerful “Holy Judgment” attack (or sometimes it’s called Justice) – holy damage to all enemies of your party. In probably most popular part of series, Final Fantasy 7 he is available in Summon Materia. You can get him during travel at the Great Glacier. One of the servers for Final Fantasy XI is called Alexander.

Asura or Ashura is weapon from Final Fantasy, this Katana can be found few times. For the example in Final Fantasy X its weapon for Auron, in FF VI is equipable by Cyan or in FF Tactics Advance is available to Assassin and Ninja classes. Of course Asura is also name of Final Fantasy XI server.

Bahamut is giant dragon who deals non elemental damage to all opponents. He has attack Mega Flare, but in Final Fantasy VII there are other attacks like Giga Flare and Tera Flare. It depends which Bahamut is used (in FF we’ve got 3), Bahamut, “Neo Bahamut” or “Bahamut Zero”. Last one has great power and he is attacking from space. You can farm FFXI gil with Bahamut.

Bismarck is taken from name of German politician, but in Final Fantasy Unlimited or Final Fantasy 6 it’s more related to biggest
German battleship from World of War II. In FF he can attack his enemies with water-based damage. Bismarck is very strong and useful when you are opposing vulnerable to water targets.

Caitsith or Stray us an Esper from Final Fantasy VI, he also appears in FF 7 as cat raiding weird monster. He is very funny character, he joins your party at Gold Saucer but later he is traitor. Cait Sith is also in Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales.

Carbuncle is sweet looking summon from Final Fantasy series. He is ability is, Ruby Power or Ruby Light (FF 8), which is very useful with Reflect spell on all your party members. He appears in Final Fantasy VIII as Guardian Force and you can Drawn him from Iguons at Deling City. He is looking like small blue creature with ruby on his forehead.

Cerberus is demonic three headed Guardian Force from Final Fantasy VIII, he can be very useful with his ability – Counter Rockets which is spell Double and Triple for your party. This ability might be very good support during hard combats. Name is taken from Greek mythology; there is that kind of beast at the gates to the Underworld.

Diabolos in my opinion is the coolest and best looking Guardian Force from Final Fantasy 8, very dangerous for opponents on the higher levels. His ability is called “Dark Messenger” and deal gravity-based damage for all enemies. He is very useful on higher levels, and should be used at the beginning of the battle – Diabolos is most effective then.

Fairy is available for summon in Final Fantasy Tactics. She can heal your party members during the battle. From experience i know Fairy is far more useful and helpful than Moogle, because of larger area of effects. There is server called Fairy for FF XI gil.

Fenrir is very tough opponent from Monster Arena in Final Fantasy X. You can fight with him but you mustn’t – he is optional boss. He is very fast and strong (850.000 HP) and has strong attacks like Fangs of Ruin or Fangs of Hell. He is difficult to fight because his tremendous speed. But for beating him you can receive valuable rewards.

Garuda is summon from Final Fantasy 11 where is powerful avatar of wind. He can cast some air-based spells on opponents or attack them with large claws. She has also ability to heal all party members. There is server named Garuda for FF XI gil.

Gilgamesh is probably in every Final Fantasy game. He thinks of himself as great and powerful swordsman but he often loses his battles. Gilgamesh is searching for legendary sword named Excalibur. His name is taken after half-legendary Gilgamesh – Mesopotamian King. It’s also name of FF XI Online server.

Hades appears in Final Fantasy as strong summon. Hades summon materia is available at Sunken Gelnika. This powerful summon can attack your enemies with status ailments like Silence, Slow, Poison, Confusion etc.

Ifrit is strong fire demon taken from Arabian mythology. He is also summon in Final Fantasy VII and his attack is called Hell Fire or in other parts – Inferno, Hell or Flames. He is looking like demon and is always attacking with fire-based damage. I think is the coolest summon in FF VII, like Knights of the Round.

You can meet Kujata in Final Fantasy VII. Kujata is from Arabian myth of Bahamut. You can find material with this monster in the Bone Village, at Sleeping Forest. In combat he deal multi elemental damage to all your opponents. He only appears in FF VII.

Lakshmi appears in Final Fantasy 6, it’s also known as Starlet. With her power, you can heal your entire party HP. Although she doesn’t appear in Final Fantasy XI, her name is used as a name of server. Lakshmi is goddess of wisdom, beauty and luck in Hindu mythology; she is representation of material beauty and wealth.

Leviathan is very popular summon in all FF series. Its sea serpent and he deals water damage to all enemies. His attack is called Tsunami or Tidal wave. In FF VIII he is Guardian force, you can Drawn Leviathan from Garden Master Norg. Leviathan is taken from Old Testament, and it was very violent sea creatures from Jewish texts.

Midgardsormr is taken from Norse mythology, is known as “Jörmungandr”, the “World Serpent”. You can giant serpent in Final Fantasy 7, near Midgar where are The Midgar Zolom. They are dwelling on the marshlands near Mythril Mine. On the beginning of game he is very powerful enemy and it’s almost miracle to beat him.

Odin is brave rider who attack his enemies with powerful attack Zantetsuken. He looks like dark, almost demonic knight, and he is riding powerful 6-leged steed. He is very useful against most of opponents; he cut them in half, riding on the battlefield.

Pandemonium or Pandemona is wind Guardian Force from Final Fantasy 8. He has ability called Tornado Zone which is dangerous to all opponents vulnerable to wind based attacks. You can get Pandemonium from guy named Fujin at hotel in Balanb.

Phoenix is one of the summon from Final Fantasy. You can earn this summon materia at Fort Condor after battle with Shin-Ra forces. Phoenix ability is always related to revive and rising from KO. He is very helpful during tough fights.

Quetzalcoatl is mighty summon who is attacking with powerful thunder attack all enemies. He is giant snake with feathers. He can be very useful against all enemies vulnerable to lighting attacks. Name is from Mesoamerican god called “Mesoamerican god”.

Ragnarok? You know this name? In Final Fantasy 6 he appears as an Esper. In Final Fantasy 8 he is huge battleship-robot. Ragnarok is event very similar to the Apocalypse; we can find Ragnarok in Norse legends.

Ramuh? Yeah this one is summon materia and it’s easy to find him at Gold Saucer (Chocobo Jockey Room). Ramuh is taken from Hindu poem called, Ramayana. His ability is called Judgment Bolt, he deals thunder-based damage to all opponents.

Remora is available in few parts of Final Fantasy series. It’s monster-boss, below Bevelle city. To beat him easily, you can use overdrive Wakka’s attack called Dark Buster. Remora is also mob in Final Fantasy XII, and is first boss you encounter in this game. Remora is also server.

Seraph is an angel; in fact he has highest rank from all angels in Christian religion. You can obtain this heaven being in Final Fantasy VI. He can heal you party with ability – Angel Feathers, which might be very helpful for your party in all Final Fantasy 6. FFXI gil helper.

Shiva is another summon; beautiful and cold with magical powers, can attack anyone with her cold “Diamond Dust” (sometimes is also “Gem Dust”) dealing ice-based damage to all opponents. You can find material with her, from little girl Priscilla at Lower Junon (Final Fantasy 7).

Siren has non-elemental attack and she is real FFXI gil hunter. You can meet her at Final Fantasy VIII as a Guardian Force. During her attack she is playing on her harp. She is very beautiful women with long hair + nice body. Siren is taken from Greek mythology.

Sylph is pixie fairy who cans cast powerful healing spell on your party. Sylph’s ability is to suck up part of HP from your enemy and transfer it to your party. You can also meet Sylph at Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon 2, quite popular game.

Titan is mighty looking summon in Final Fantasy game series. In Final Fantasy 7, you can grab him at Gongaga Mako Reactor, just click on the reactor after Scarlet visit it. Titan is also in FF XI, and is granting valuable protection from physical damage to your party (this is cool ability).

Unicorn appears in Final Fantasy VI, as strong and helpful Esper. There is also server named Unicorn for Final Fantasy XI. His ability is very useful Heal Horn (cast Remedy on all party members). He is Esper in Final Fantasy 6 game and appears in game Dragon Quest.

Valefor is Aeon from Final Fantasy X and X-2. It’s first Yuna’s Aeon from temple of Besaid. His ability is Sonic Wings, with Delay status effect. He is only Aeon with 2 overdrives, first one is Energy Ray and second one is Energy Blast. There is also optional boss to fight called Dark Valefor and you can find with him at the entrance of the Besaid village.

Welcome on FFXI Gil - Blog. Basics This weblog is dedicated to Final Fantasy XI, also known as Final Fantasy XI Online or FFXI. This very cool game was published and developed by Square Enix and is part of very popular Final Fantasy series of games. First game was released in Japan on Playstation 2 on May 16, 2002 and later on PC in November 2002, secondly on PC in North America on October 28, 2003 and on PSX 2 on March 23, 2004. In Europe game has been released on PC on September 17, 2004. gil ffxi The story is set in the world of Vana’diel, where you are creating your in-game character avatar and play to rise his powers doing quests and tasks. What is interesting, FF XI is still dominant MMORPG in Japan. FFXi is in my opinion better then WoW or other games so that’s good ;-) There are four expansion released for Final Fantasy: Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urhgan and Wings of the Goddess.
Anyway on my blog i will be writing about this great game, i will gladly add interesting movies from game or related, news connected to FF XI or FF world. Also tons of interesting materials and curiosities.
I will also create interesting guide for zones and gil in Final Fantasy XI, i would gladly share with you with all my knowledge about that matter.
